“Digital Value Creation in Production – Rethought!” on November 7, 2024, at Ebner Group in Leonding

On November 7, 2024, the event “Digital Value Creation in Production – Rethought!” took place at Ebner Group in Leonding, bringing together experts and industry leaders from across Europe to discuss digital value creation in production. A particular highlight was the presentation by Roland Fadrany on Gaia-X, emphasizing the importance of data sovereignty and data ecosystems for industrial value creation.

Following a warm welcome by Michael Wiesmüller and Stefan Rohringer from Infineon Technologies, the event presented a diverse program. Key topics included the European Chips Act and the Austrian Chips Competence Center AT-C3, which were a focus of the morning sessions.

In the afternoon, Gaia-X took center stage: Roland Fadrany delivered an inspiring keynote on the potential of data spaces for the industry. Under the title “The power of data spaces – How to get started!” he explained how Gaia-X can support companies in creating added value through secure and sovereign data spaces. Gaia-X facilitates secure data sharing and utilization across corporate and national boundaries through interoperable data spaces, thus laying the foundation for sustainable digital transformation.
